I had to read the source article a couple times as this sounds as if this is straight from a sci-fi movie....

In 2001, numerous people observed red rain falling over Kerala in the southern tip of India during a two month period. No joke! This really happened. I will attach a source article, a pic, and a video, to this post BUT you can find tons of info on this if you google search.

What do aliens, genetic experimentation, a secret underground base, and a disgruntled security officer have in common? No, this isn't an unproduced X-Files teleplay. I'm actually referring to a 3rd season episode of the History Channel channel show UFO Hunters titled "Underground Alien Bases," which originally aired on March 25th, 2009.

Asteroid 1999 RQ36 has a one in 1,000 chance of hitting the Earth before 2200 (hmm, little less than 2 centuries...Stephen Hawkings prediction coincidence?). Are more asteroids coming? If that asteroid hits it would be equivalent to hundreds of nuclear bombs detonating at once. Scientists at NASA want to collect a sample rock to forecast its trajectory more accurately.

NASA could land probe on asteroid hurtling towards Earth

Between Stephen Hawkings predictions and this ratio I kind of wonder what is being told to its complete accuracy. If an asteroid was to be predicted to hit Earth would the government outright let the population know…a little less than 2 centuries before? NASA has a planned mission called OSIRIS-Rex  that is one of the two finalists in competition for funding as part of the cash-strapped US space agency's New Frontiers program. The other competitor is a mission to land on Venus.

So we have a new alien theory out right now. The SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Hacker" hypothesis. A physicist named Richard Carrigan, Jf., at the Femi National Accelerator Laboratory in Baravia, Illinois has voiced his concerns. He contends that SETI should think about decontaminating potential SETI signals. We should excercise caution when handling SETI downloads.

NASA's Mars Meteorite Research Team has reopened a 14-year-old controversy on extraterrestrial life last week. This investigation offers support for its widely challenged assertion that a 4-billion-year-old meteorite that landed thousands of years ago on Antarctica shows evidence of microscopic life on Mars. Even more evidence is now being brought to light about Martian meteorites and how they appear to house distinct and identifiable microbial fossils that point even more strongly to the existence of life.
