Steve Job's story

Steve Jobs. The constant innovator.

His words from “Pirates of Silicon Valley,” a movie about Steve Jobs and Bill Gates still rings in my ears..

“We’re here to make a dent in the universe otherwise why even be here. We’re creating a completely new consciousness like an artist or a poet”

A recent article from Times magazine shows glimpses of that attitude. The Ipad was created without focus groups or even a market research agenda. An MBA nightmare...

BUT...

Something tells me Steve Jobs did not care. The more I dig to understand the guy the more I see that he definitely has a story to tell. His journey, his inner narrative, his understanding of how he fits in this universe is understood by him. His innovation, his energy, even his outlook is an extension of who he is. Something tells me he has a lot more to tell.

As much as I am interested in Apple products I am very much so interested in what he stands for. As with any good sale, if you can see yourself (your story) rather than a product you are ahead of the game. It’s about relationships and Steve Jobs creates that universe in which we judge his products.

Below you will find a commencement ceremony in which Steve Jobs gave a speech. At times I enjoy and crave the kind of energy he exudes. Philosophical and deeply rooted. I also wonder what kind of person Steve Jobs would of been without Apple.

I wonder how he would of told his story...
